Welcome to the home of the Celtic Challenge Cup
Held in Ireland for the first two years before returning home to Wales, this prestigious and challenging event brings together competitors from across the Celtic waters including Wales, Scotland, Ireland & Cornwall. England have been invited as a guest team and we are hoping very much that this year will see teams from France joining our ranks.
Teams battle it out in the surf and on the sand, pitting their surf life saving, team and physical skills to the test. An evening presentation follows with a chance for all participating teams to come together for a dinner held at a local venue.
In 2009 thanks to the generous sponsorship of CORUS - the event will once again be hosted at ABERAVON.
The event is scheduled to be run on Saturday the 29th of August and Sunday the 30th of August. The youth will compete on the Saturday and the seniors will take to the beach and ocean on the Sunday
